Massive congratulations to Karen and Perry who were married at The Lawn, Rochford. Their wedding was really intimate, with just close family and friends and they had lovely vintage touches, which were carried through to their 3 tier wedding cake.
I loved their cake! Soft ivory with sugar lace and a large satin bow with a vintage brooch to finish off. As they had a smaller guest list, their bottom tier was a dummy tier with the middle tier being Traditional Fruitcake and the top tier Lemon. Having a dummy tier is a great way of having a larger wedding cake without having lots of actual cake to eat, therefore saving on waste (I hate to hear of any wasted cake!)
