Oh how I absolutely LOVED Amy and Paul’s wedding cake! First of all, it was a style of wedding cake I’d yet to make and secondly, it was so pretty. I’ve lived by the sea in Westcliff now for over 10 years and been the recommended wedding cake maker for the Roslin Beach Hotel for 4 years and had never, up to Amy and Paul’s wedding, made a seashells and starfish wedding cake! Crazy!!

Their colour scheme was blush pink and ivory, so I dusted the seashells with a pale pink lustre and gave the rest of the decorations a dusting of pearl lustre for a bit of sparkle.

Their yummy flavours were Victoria Sponge, Lemon Drizzle and Salted Caramel.
